Nash-Back2School Bash: School Supply Community Day

PROJECT SUMMARY

This community event aimed to deliver school supplies to families in the metro-Nashville public school cluster. To launch this event, my organization partnered with the Metro-Nashville Public School District, Antioch High School, feeder middle schools, & the Southeast Community center. We welcomed +5000 attendees to a day complete with pick-up games, raffle prizes, inflatables, & free food.

Led relationship development efforts with event partners Metro-Nashville Public Schools & the South-East community center to host Back To School event with +5000 attendees & +1000 backpacks distributed
- Coordinated team of 25+ volunteers for event execution & set-up/break-down
- Marketed event to onboard & recruit volunteering team
Developed & managed Open Issue list to track & assign action items to the project team
